This glycerin soap base is entirely vegan, made from vegetable oils, and contains no alcohol or drying agents. Glycerin, a natural humectant, attracts moisture to the skin, cleansing gently while delivering the hydration essential for maintaining soft, healthy-looking skin. This soap rinses cleanly without leaving any residue.
 
Please note that Shea Butter Soap may produce a milder lather compared to other bases due to its natural composition, but this does not diminish its effectiveness.

  • Directions and Suggested Usage

    Cutting and Melting

    • Start by cutting the soap base into small, uniform cubes for even melting. Use a microwave or a double boiler to melt the soap, monitoring the process to avoid overheating.

    Adding Fragrance

    • After melting, mix in your chosen fragrance oil thoroughly to ensure even distribution, keeping in mind the recommended usage rates outlined in IFRA specific Fragrance Certificates

    Incorporating Additives

    • Personalize your soap by adding skin-safe colorants, exfoliants, or other unique additives. Our Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base is versatile and can accommodate a variety of ingredients for creative formulations.

    Pouring into Molds

    • Carefully pour the melted soap into your selected molds. Let your creativity shine as you experiment with different shapes and sizes to create personalized soap bars.

    Cooling and Unmolding

    • Allow the soap to cool and solidify in the molds. Once fully set, gently unmold the soap bars, ensuring they have cooled and hardened adequately before handling.

    Safety Precautions

    2lbs of melt & pour soap base can yield between 10 and 20 soaps, depending on the size you wish to create.

    • *Important Note:** Customers may observe a white film at the bottom of this soap base. This is due to the titanium drop and is not indicative of a quality issue. It is common for certain opaque soap bases. The white pigment (titanium dioxide) may settle within the soap base as it cools. Simply cut the block from top to bottom evenly, re-melt, and mix to evenly distribute the white pigment throughout the finished soap bar.
    • *Caution:** Remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. If exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate, causing the soap bar to shrink. We recommend completely wrapping the entire soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled to minimize or eliminate shrinkage.

    Storage

    Store airtight in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area.
