- Start by cutting the soap base into small, uniform cubes for even melting. Use a microwave or a double boiler to melt the soap, monitoring the process to avoid overheating.

- After melting, mix in your chosen fragrance oil thoroughly to ensure even distribution, keeping in mind the recommended usage rates outlined in IFRA specific Fragrance Certificates

- *Important Note:** Customers may observe a white film at the bottom of this soap base. This is due to the titanium drop and is not indicative of a quality issue. It is common for certain opaque soap bases. The white pigment (titanium dioxide) may settle within the soap base as it cools. Simply cut the block from top to bottom evenly, re-melt, and mix to evenly distribute the white pigment throughout the finished soap bar.
- *Caution:** Remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. If exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate, causing the soap bar to shrink. We recommend completely wrapping the entire soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled to minimize or eliminate shrinkage.
